One of my favorite places to take my kids on the weekends and in down time from school is the San Diego Botanical Quail Gardens. From the Children’s Garden with an adorable play house, water play area, and fountains, to digging for dinosaur eggs, and climbing the big tree house my kids love spending time running free in the safe, enclosed and beautiful environment.
In the link below find the latest activities for kids and any upcoming summer events that may interest you. One of my boy’s favorite all time events is the Insect Festival on July 12th and 13th. It is a must to go and try the BBQ Meal Worms.
