Mature, energetic and experienced nanny needed for loving family in the La Jolla area of San Diego. Family is looking for a long term commitment and treat the position very professionally. Caring for 2 kids, ages 9 (girl) and 6 (boy). Nanny must have 3 professional references, a clear background, clean driving records, and ability to commit for up to 2 years. Being flexible on end time is a must and having the ability to available during off school times is a huge plus.
Duties:
- Daily school pick up at 2:35, and on Wed 12:15
- Dinner preparation for family as frequently as possible (simple cooking fine)
- Making all the lunches and taking out clothes for school the next day
- Driving to and from activities (all local in La Jolla)
- Tidying and organizing
- Staying on top of household needs
- Grocery shopping and errand running
- Family laundry
- Activity planning
- Arranging play dates and thinking about what the kids would like to do
- Timely daily attendance
- Showers/Baths
- Bed time routine
- Flexible for date nights as needed
- Weekly regroup on schedule with mom
Hours:
- Monday: 1-6:30
- Tuesday: 1-6:30
- Wednesday: 10-6:30
- Thursday: 1-6:30
- Friday: 11-6:30 (may vary)
- Must be flexible on end time, a huge plus to be available longer hours
Pay: $18 per hour W2
Guarantee of 30 hours per week
